Partnership opportunities with the PATHS Program

Become a Partner

September 1 – May 1

Guest Speaker: Partners speak with PATHS classes about direct support profession or child care profession and features of their business or organization.

Open House: Partners are invited to speak with potential PATHS students, their families and teachers about the role and expectations of a direct support professional or child care professional and the partner’s organization. A table will be available for set up.

September 1 – December 18

Career Observations: Partners provide opportunities for PATHS students to observe current direct support professionals or child care professionals as they perform daily responsibilities and tasks.

Career Volunteer: Partners provide opportunities for students to volunteer in a direct professional or child care professional setting to use the skills they are learning through PATHS. Minimum of 5 hours per week.

February 1 – May 1

Practicum Partnership: Partners provide opportunities for PATHS students to volunteer in a direct support professional or child care professional setting to use the skills they are learning through PATHS. Minimum 15 hours per week. Support is provided by a PATHS Advisor through expectation meetings, observations, and weekly student meetings.

Internship Partnership: Partners provide opportunities for PATHS students to work in a direct support professional or child care professional setting to utilize the skills they are learning through PATHS. Minimum of 15 hours per week. Support is provided through expectation meetings, observations and weekly student meetings.

Partners Appreciation Lunch: Hosted by PATHS staff and students, honoring PATHS partners.
